Gym Ball

When buying a gym ball, go for a bigger size than you would normally get. If you are tall with long legs, then 75/85cm is best, and if you are smaller, the the 65 cm will be best for you. You can also buy an electric pump as the foot pump takes forever!

Chair

It is best to use a kitchen chair with no armrests, and this is used for the pelvic release practice. If you don’t have a suitable chair, then placing the legs on the settee would also do, as long as you can create a right angle with you legs.

Yoga Mat.

I really love the IUGA brand, which are affordable and good quality. Also, TK Max do good yoga mats. Go for a 5-6mm thickness to give you plenty of support on the knees.

Tennis ball, or even a massage ball for some of the classes to get deep into the tissues!

Scarf/strap

Any long scarf that you have around the house is fine, no need to go to any expense. We use these for stretching.

Cushions

Have cushions and pillows and lots of them! As you are sometimes going to be in positions for a while, it is best to be supported, and cushions and pillows are great also for propping you up when lying down.
